As an initiator of the WTBT project Hofer has strong ties with Blue Sea Aquaculture Private Limited and is the key customer of the organic shrimps from the project. Hofer KG operates a retail chain in Europe. The company was founded in 1967 and is based in Sattledt, Austria. Hofer KG operates as a subsidiary of ALDI SÜD GmbH & Co.
Blue Sea Aquaculture has a partnership with Ananda group. Being experts in producing healthy and certified organic seeds, they exclusively produce for Blue Sea Aquaculture. Ananda Group operates India‘s first fntegrated Shrimp, Prawn and Fisheries Unit which is well renowned for possessing twoshrimp, twoprawn & 1 multi species fish Hatchery (for Red Tilapia, Pangasius & Indian Major Carps), 100 hectares of grow-out for shrimp & 100 hectares for fish, threemodern processing plants with EU & USFDA approved facilities; floating &sinking fish feed &shrimp feed manufacturing with distribution network across the country.
Nature Environment and Wildlife Society (NEWS), founded in 1991, is a conservation NGO based in Kolkata, India. Their primary focus is to conserve wildlife, ecology, natural resources and sustainable livelihoods for an improved environment. Blue Sea has been partnering with NEWS for their expert knowledge in mangrove afforestation activities
S. S. SeaFood Pvt. Ltd. has been established in 2015 as a seafood processing and exporting company in Kolkata. Earlier they worked as merchant exporter for F & FP products. SS SeaFood has certifications against HACCP, BRC, USFDA, EU Organic, Naturland and BSCI standards. Since 2016 SS Seafood became the certified organic processor and exporter with WTBT project and later with Blue Sea Aquaculture.
IFB Agro has been established in 1982 as a manufacturer and distributer of Grain Alcohol, DDGS, CO2, Organic Manure, Alcoholic beverages, Aqua feed and Processed Frozen Shrimps for Domestic and Export markets. They are certified against several standards like HACCP, BRC, USFDA, BAP, FSSC 22000, EU organic. Blue Sea Aquaculture has started a partnership with IFB since 2017 for producing certified organic shrimps.
Shore is the leading sustainable seafood supplier in Europe. Shore is supporting Blue Sea Aquaculture by importing certified organic Black Tiger shrimps from the project. Blue Sea has partnership to produce organic shrimps for shore.
Bluesensus is a sustainability and seafood consulting company in Germany established in 2015. They are having expertise in certification support, business development, EIA study, biodiversity projects. Etc. Since founding Blue Sea Aquaculture gets all technical support from Bluesensus.
Alcom Exim LLP. is incorporated in 2016 as a Buying agency for frozen seafood products. Since the founding Blue Sea Aquaculture is joined with Alcom for the commercial dealing with the buyer for export business.
